PURPOSE:To always separate forein matter, etc. and a toner having a good quality exactly by a constant separating ability, by providing a rotary magnet, and a nonmagnetic member for a developer guide in its magnetic field, and separating a developer, and foreign matter, coagulation, etc. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of a nonmagnetic sleeve 1 is provided a 4-pole magnet 2 for generating a magnetic field on the surface of the sleeve. Also, a nonmagnetic member for a toner guide, for instance, a mylar sheet 3 of 100mum thickness is wound round almost half the circumference of the sleeve surface, and an end part of the sheet 3, at least a light end part in the direction of movement of a toner is provided so as to keep it away from the sleeve 1. Also, in the lower part of the sleeve 1 is placed a receiving vessel 4 for foreign matter and a coagulated toner, and in the lower part where the mylar sheet 3 is separated from the sleeve 1 is placed a collected toner receiving vessel 5. In this way, it is possible to always separate foreign matter, etc. and a toner having a good quality exactly by a constant separating ability. |
