PURPOSE:To make secure alignment of the axial line of a bulb body and the axial line of a mount to be sealed in the bulb body possible by providing a collet and a lock mechanism which can hold the collet and a collet chuck to an opened state. CONSTITUTION:When a collet 3 and a burner device 4 are in a retreat position, a mount M is fed to the space between a bulb body C and the device 4. Thereafter, when a roller 66 fixed to a member 61 is pushed forward, a collet 32 moves to the axial direction and the collet chuck 3 is opened and at the same time, a claw 62 of a lock mechanism 6 prevents the backward movement of the collet 32 with the claw 62 hitching to a projection 63 to hold the collet chuck in an opened state. In this condition, a movable member 2 is pushed forward and the collet chuck 3 and the device 4 are advanced to a predetermined position. At this time the back end of an exhaust pipe P for the mount M is contained within the collet 32. Thereafter, the lock mechanism 6 is unlocked and the collet 32 goes slightly backward and the collet chuck 3 holds the exhaust pipe P. At this time the axial line of the mount M is securely aligned to the axial line of the bulb body. |
