<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the yield of the hardly adsorbable gas to be separated and to stabilize its purity by recovering the hardly adsorbable gaseous component remaining at the outlet of an adsorption tower in the adsorption tower and returning a part of the gaseous product difficult to separate to the adsorption tower. CONSTITUTION:The gas rich in the hardly adsorbable gaseous component remaining at the outlet of an adsorption tower at the final stage of the adsorption and separation is recovered in an adsorption tower in which the adsorbent is desorbed and regenerated. As for the tower A, the whole or a part of the hardly adsorbable gas and gaseous O2 produced in the D tower by adsorption at the last half of cycle-4 is supplied to the upper part of the tower A from a switching valve VA-4 through a switching valve VD-4, and the gas at the top of the tower A is forced into an adsorbent bed. The adsorbent at the upper part of the tower is desorbed and reactivated by the O2 back flow during the O2 back flow state, and the O2 purity is improved in the adsorption stage. The gaseous O2 yield is improved when O2 of >=90% purity is produced.</p> |
