<p>PURPOSE:To check up a state of insertion of an electric conductor in a compression joint part simply and conveniently by connecting through-type transformer with a magnetizing coil, by measuring a magnetic field in the longitudinal direction of the electric conductor and by detecting the presence or absence of a magnetic body in a detecting coil by a magnetic flux inspecting coil. CONSTITUTION:In a compression joint part 1 of a transmission line having a steel core 2a provided in the central part, a magnetic flux density increases by the permeability of the steel core 2a at a position whereat the steel core 2a is present in comparison with the one at a position whereat it is absent, when a detecting head part 6a made up of a through-type current transformer 6a and a magnetizing coil 62 and the position of the transmission line 2 are slided from each other relatively in the longitudinal direction. This increase of the magnetic flux density is detected by a magnetic flux coil 63 wound round on the transmission line 2. The position of insertion of the end part of the transmission line 2 can be known from a change in a detection output of the coil. The output of the coil 63 is amplified by an amplifier circuit 64 of a detecting circuit 6b, converted into a light signal by an electricity/light converter 65, restored to an electrical signal in an evaluating device 8 through an optical fiber 7 and displayed therein.</p> |
