发明名称 FUEL CELL POWER GENERATION SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of conversion of chemical energy into electric energy by installing a second fuel cell using proton conductive electrolyte into which the fuel-side exhaust gas of a first fuel cell using oxygen ion conductive electrolyte is introduced through a gas reformer. CONSTITUTION:Fuel 22 and air 23 are pressurized by a compresser 24 and then, introduced to a first fuel cell (SOFC) 21 using oxygen ion conductive electrolyte so that power is generated by chemical reaction, and discharged as fuel-side exhaust gas 26. The fuel side exhaust gas 25 is sent to CO shift converter 30 and PSA 31 so as for water to be removed, and thereafter, mixed gas containing H2 is sent as fuel to a second fuel cell (SPAC) 32 which uses proton conductive electrolyte, and power is generated through chemical reaction by the gas together with separately introduced air, and then, the gas is discharged as exhaust gas of the air side and as exhaust gas of the fuel side. It is thereby possible to improve the efficiency of conversion of chemical energy into electric energy by completely consuming surplus fuel from the first fuel cell 21, which uses oxygen ion conductive electrolyte, at the second fuel cell 22.
