摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a plasma display device having high luminance and a high luminance ratio by forming a display anode group on a substrate of a back glass and a charged particle passage on a lower part in an electric discharge space. CONSTITUTION: A display cathode group 11 is formed on a back glass substrate 10 in a stripe state, a dielectric layer 12 having width of a constant interval is formed on this back glass substrate 10 so as to cross perpendicularly to the display cathode group 11, and an auxiliary anode group 14 is formed in a strip state on an inner surface of a front glass substrate 20 in such a way to face against and cross with the display cathode group 11. That is, a display anode group 13 is formed on the dielectric layer 12 formed on the back glass base plate 10 in such a way to cross with the display cathode group 11, and a lattice type bulkhead 15 having a charged particle passage is provided on the back glass substrate 10. Consequently, an effective luminous area is extended and luminance is improved, and lowering of a luminance ratio due to auxiliary discharge is prevented.
