PURPOSE:To expand the output control range of a lighting device by connecting a phase control element in parallel with the feedback circuit of a diode and a DC-DC converter. CONSTITUTION:A phase control element 122 is connected in parallel with the feedback circuit of a diode 120 and a DC-DC converter 114. The DC-DC converter 114 is connected immediately after a full-wave rectifier 112, and a capacitor 124 can be invariably charged regardless of the control phase angle of the phase control element 122. The phase control element 122 is connected immediately after the full-wave rectifier 112 and controls only the DC voltage fed to a high-frequency inverter 118. Phase control can be performed in the whole period when DC voltage is fed to the high-frequency inverter 118 from the full-wave rectifier 112. The output control range of a lighting device can be increased. |
