PURPOSE:To enable to grasp the shift from stable machining to unstable machining by providing an inferring means which synthesizes a plural number of results which are obtained by the volume of machining situation at the present or in the past in a plural number of sections detected by a detecting means and the method related to these, so as to obtain control command value of machining condition. CONSTITUTION:A method which is effective for controlling machining conditions is stored in a knowledge memory unit 42. Next, the volume of machining situation is a plural number of sections which are necessary in this method and set arbitrarily is detected by the detection means in a detection value processing unit 23. These plural number of the volume of machining situation is stored in a situation memory unit 41. A plural number of results which are obtained by the method from the knowledge memory unit 42 and the volume of machining situation from the situation memory unit 41 are synthesized by an inferring means 43 to execute control of the optimum machining conditions.
