The protective shell (1) is positioned between the legs of the user and the two lifts. It can either be fitted on the thigh of the front leg or on that of the rear leg, or in the most comfortable position for the user. On its outside, are two large ribs (9), between which the tow lift shackle is inserted. In the space (11) between the ribs is a wedge-shaped raised part (8), inclined at an angle between 45 and 60 deg. to the longitudinal axis (15) of the shell. On the raised part is a hard plate (17) with a surface coating (16), which is made of anti-slip material, ensuring a good location of the shackle in the shell.
