Fast cyclinghydraulic press for plastics and composites with separate hydraulic cylinders for fast approach and pressing where the latter have a short stroke and their rams are rigidly connected to the platen plungers during the slowing phase of the cycle. ADVANTAGE - This construction ensures the several pressing rams are connected to the platen at exactly the same and repeatable predetermined position resulting in parallel motion and uniform quality and thickness of prod. compared with clamping sleeve connections. It avoids difficult construction, fluid leakage and maintenance of clamping sleeves. It provides simple construction, rapid connection and no delay in the press cycle, giving higher output.
