<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the user from feeling unpleasantness by the noise of a fan motor by setting the upper-limit speed of the motor in proportion to the emission output of a luminescent display part. CONSTITUTION:A means for adjusting the emission output of a luminescent display part 16 and a means for setting the upper-limit speed of a fan motor 10 in proportion to the emission output of the display part 16 are provided to the air cleaner. Since the room is darkened while sleeping at night, the bright display is not needed, and the emission output is lowered by the user through the adjusting means. When the emission output is lowered, the upper-limit speed of the motor 10 is proportionally set low, and the user is not unpleasant by the noise of the motor.</p> |
