<p>PURPOSE:To stop the unsteady function of an electric motor by turning off the first and the second switching element to cut off a power source from the motor at the almost same time as the detection of the abnormality of an electric system to actuate the motor, for instance the first and the second current control element. CONSTITUTION:When abnormality occurs in an electric system to actuate an electric motor 8, for instance FET 13, 13', to make deflection between command current value and actual current value get out of a fixed range, the abnormality detecting section 6a of a microcomputer 6 judges that the abnormality has occurred to set an abnormality detecting signal to an 'L' level. The output level of AND circuits 33, 34 serving as a turning off means for a switching element therefore turns to an 'L' level to turn off FET 12, 12', and the output level of a AND circuit 16 also turns to an 'L' level to turn off a transister 15. In this case, FET 12 12' are first turned off to stop current supply to the motor 8, and the transister 15 is then turned off to turn off a relay 9 too. The motor 8 is therefore stopped at the almost same time as the detection of the abnormality to prevent the unsteady function of the motor 8.</p> |
