The plug connector (1) has an essentially U-shaped cross-section with a central web (2) and lateral webs (3) and is in the form of a stamped and bent part made of sheet steel. In the central web (2) the plug connector (1) possesses substantially triangular apertures (8) which are made as wall perforations. On the lateral webs (3) are arranged a number of bent-out retaining lugs (6). They form in the region of the connection point a stop (7) for the pushed-on hollow frame members (5), each of which consist of two directly adjacent and opposing elastic retaining lugs (6).
