PURPOSE:To reduce a price by connecting a front shield to a rear shield, and dividing thrust jacks driving a cutter head fixed to the front shield into a plurality of groups to connect them to directional control valves. CONSTITUTION:A shield excavator 1 is constituted of a cutter head 10, a front shield to bear the perimeter of the cutter head 10 and a rear shield 30, and the rear shield 30 is connected to a segment 40 through a tail packing 31. After that, the front shield 20 is connected to the rear shield 30 through a spherical surface 21 and, at the same time, they are connected with thrust jacks 22 arranged in equal parts in the shape of a circle. In addition, a plurality of thrust jacks 22 are divided into the plural number of groups, and each group is handled as one jack to control stroke. According to the constitution, directional control can be easily controlled. |
