PURPOSE:To facilitate work by bearing a cutter head provided with cutters on a mount so that it is capable of rotating, and providing a pad capable of rising and falling in the direction of a radius against the axis of a tunnel and a driving device to the cutter head. CONSTITUTION:Two external pipes 21 opened outward of a radius are mounted around the peripheral surface of a cutter head bearing a plurality of roller cutters 1 so that they are capable of rotating. A pad 20 capable of sliding is provided to the inside of each of the external pipes 21, and a hydraulic jack 1 is provided in the pad 20 through pins 22a and 22b. After that, during the rotation of the cutter head, the pad 20 falls inward of the radius, and when the cutter head is rotated and stopped, the pad rises outward of the radius to bear the weight of an excavator. According to the constitution, accurate rolling can be corrected. |
