PURPOSE:To improve the foaming properties of an integral-skin foam by reacting an active hydrogen compd. with a polyisocyanate in the presence of a blowing agent contg. a compd. which releases CO2 and ammonia on thermal decomposition. CONSTITUTION:A compd. which releases CO2 and ammonia on thermal decomposition pref. at 40-100 deg.C) (e.g. ammonium carbonate)(A) is, if necessary, compounded with water, a low-boiling halogenated hydrocarbon. a low-boiling hydrocarbon, and an inert gas to give a blowing agent. 100 pts.wt. active hydrogen compd. having at least two NCO-reactive active hydrogen groups (e.g. a polyoxypropylene polyol) is reacted with a polyisocyanate (e.g. a polymeric isocyanate) in the presence of the blowing agent contg. 0.1-20 pts.wt. compd. A and, if necessary, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer, etc. |
