PURPOSE:To detect the coupling state and the locking state of a device with simple constitution by catching both movement of a split unit in an acting direction and an actuating member in an acting direction by means of a sensor. CONSTITUTION:In this device, a part of the device is formed as the split unit 2, and the unit 2 is split from the device main body 1 so as to perform jamming processing or the at-tachment/detachment of renewal parts. When a user presses the unit 2 so as to couple it with the main body 1, a locking lever 3 hooks a shaft 6. At such a time, a photosensor 7 is shielded by a shielding plate 8 which acts in the acting direction Y of the unit 2 and the acting direction X of the locking lever 3. Thus, it is detected that the coupling and the locking between the unit 2 and the main body 1 are completed. |
