摘要 PURPOSE:To offer a controller capable of easily controlling musical sound parameters of a physical model sound source by providing a strain detecting means to the engagement part between the hair of a bow member and a rod member and leading bow pressure out as an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:The controller for the electronic musical instrument is equipped with the rod member similar to the bow of a natural rubbed string instrument and provided with the strain detecting means 19 at the engagement part between the hair 16 of the bow member 5 for performance by engaging the hair with a string equivalent member and the rod member. The electric signal from the strain detecting means is extracted by a strain detecting circuit, whose output is used as a musical sound parameter; and a musical sound parameter processing part 2 performs a process and the physical model sound source part 3 generates a musical sound. The bow member 5 having the hair equivalent to the bow of the natural rubbed string instrument is used to enable a player who is skilled in the performance of the natural rubbed string instrument to easily operate this controller. The strain detecting means is used for the engagement part between the hair of the bow member 5 and the rod member to easily generate the bow pressure as the electric signal.
