PURPOSE:To detect an accurate velocity by making use of both rise and fall edges of the duty of an FG signal. CONSTITUTION:The cycle of the FG signal is measured for the generation of a velocity error signal through a microcomputer 1. In this measurement, the counted value of a timer 6 which counts repetitively the clock signals is used. In other words, the difference between the counted values (a) and (b) calculated at the continuous rise timing points corresponds to the cycle of the FG signal. Based on this FG signal cycle, a velocity error signal is obtained. Then the counted value of the timer 6 is stored in an ICR 7 in the edge timing of the FG signal, and a prescribed interruption operation is carried out after a due operation. |
