<p>This device, of the type comprising a float (1) connected to one end of a support arm (2), which can move rotationally in relation to the stationary portion of the tank (3), and connected to a slide contact of a potentiometer (4) whose output delivers a level indication as a function of the position of the float in the tank, is characterised in that it comprises inertial means (7) for detecting accelerations experienced by the vehicle and for actuating means (8) for positionally locking the support arm when the said accelerations exceed a specified level. <IMAGE></p> |
