PURPOSE:To prevent local heating of a stator coil by detecting an unequilibrated current which flows through an insulated conductor disposed in a coil slot, processing a detection signal and generating a current which reverses the unequilibrated current which flows through the conductor. CONSTITUTION:A stator unit 7 is composed of a stator core 8 and a stator coil 9. The core 8 is formed by laminating annular thin iron plates, and axial winding groove 5 is formed at the gap in the inner peripheral direction of the annularly laminated plates. The coil 9 is partly contained in the groove 5, and partly led as the leading end from the end of the core 8 and wound. The coil 9 is formed insulator conductor 3 made of many strands 1, and the conductor 3 is disposed as top and bottom conductors in the groove 5. A current detector 11, a current generator 12 and a signal processor 13 are provided at the end and above the coil 9. The detector 11 detects the magnitude and direction of the unequilibrated current which flows through the conductor 3, and processor 13 processes the detected value of the generator 12 to generate the current to eliminate the unequilibrated current of the conductor 3. Accordingly, the local heat of the coil 9 can be prevented. |
