PURPOSE:To prevent ghost phenomenon from occurring so as to improve the quality of image by arranging stylus electrode groups facing respective control electrodes and high resistance parts constituting an electrostatic record medium facing about the central part of each stylus electrode group. CONSTITUTION:For example, when a recording is to be carried out on an electrostatic record medium 4 by a stylus electrode group A2 and a control electrode C3, a stylus electrode A2LR to be arranged in a relative position between high resistance parts 4a3 and 4a4 among a stylus electrode A2L constituting the stylus electrode group A2 discharges together with a stylus electrode A2R and a control electrode part C3b which occupies a comparatively large area in the control electrode C3. On the other hand, a stylus electrode at a part where the stylus electrode A2LR is excepted from the stylus electrode A2L and a control electrode part C3a which occupies a comparatively small area in the control electrode C3 discharge. Accordingly, a difference of a quantity of electric charge to be accumulated in recording parts respectively facing stylus electrodes A2L' and A2R' becomes small to a degree that can be neglected. |
