<p>The present invention relates to an optical speed sensor for a rotating element (22) which is rotating with respect to a fixed chassis element (10) comprising: an annular coder member (100) fixed on the movable part of the rotating element and provided with a plurality of reflecting surfaces (103, 104) distributed around its axis (21), and an optical transducer (200) fixed on the chassis element and comprising: at least one optical emitter (E) able to direct a light beam onto the said reflecting surfaces (103, 104), and at least one optical receiver (R) able to detect the light beam sent back from the reflecting surfaces (103, 104), characterised in that: the coder member (100) is placed in the leakproof chamber (38) of a bearing interposed between the movable part (22) of the rotating element and the fixed chassis element (10), and the sensor further comprises at least two optical fibres (210, 212, 213), a first end of which is placed respectively opposite the optical emitter (E) and the optical receiver (R), while their second end passes through the fixed cage (12) of the bearing so as to open out opposite the coder member (100). <IMAGE></p> |
