PURPOSE:To permit to obtain the air-cooled heat exchanger unit, simple in the structure and good in the appearance thereof, without deteriorating the performance of a fan and increasing the cost thereof by a method wherein the opening rim of a blow-off port for a fan shroud is formed into an annular recessed rim having a curved section recessed to the inside thereof. CONSTITUTION:The shroud 23 is formed so that the annular recessed rim 23a of the blow-off port connected to a cabinet 21 continuously is curved into a semi-circular shape continuous to the wall of the cabinet without projecting the end rim thereof against airstream while the airstream, flowing along the inner surface of the shroud 23, is flowed into the direction of arrow signs A' without being disturbed and is sucked into fan blades 24. Accordingly, the deterioration of the performance of the fan, increasing of noise or the like, due to the disturbance of air in the upstream side of the fan, may be eliminated. On the other hand, the fan shroud 23 forms one side surface of the cabinet and is not being projected from the surface of the cabinet, therefore, the appearance thereof is excellent and it is not necessary to put another cabinet thereon. |
