PURPOSE:To prepare the titled polyethylene sheet having an arbitrary thickness and degree of shrinkage while using inexpensive equipment, by stretching a crosslinked polyethylene sheet formed by chemical crosslinking. CONSTITUTION:To 100pts.wt. of low density polyethylene (A), about 0.9pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent (e.g., dicumyl peroxide) (b), about 1pts.wt. of a stabilizer (C) and about 2.6pts.wt. of an additive such as carbon black are compounded and the obtained resin composition is molded under pressure and heating by a predetermined heat press mold to form a chemically crosslinked polyethylene sheet (e.g., a sheet having ribs 2 at both end parts thereof) which is, in turn, stretched about 10 times toward an arrow to obtain a heat shrinkable crosslinked polyethylene sheet. In addition, after the above mentioned sheet 1 is rounded into a tubular shape, mutually abutted rib parts 2, 2 are adhered by a clip 3 to be capable of obtaining a tube shrunk to the radius direction thereof. |
