PURPOSE:To increase the toughness, dielectric strength, etc. and to reduce the sticking of a residual toner by using a styrene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer and polycarbonate as a binder in a specified ratio to a charge transferring agent. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer and a charge transferring layer are formed in order on an electrically conductive support to manufacture an electrophotographic receptor. At this time, the charge transferring layer is formed using 3-35pts.wt. styrene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer and 65-127pts.wt. polycarbonate as a binder to 30-100pts.wt. charge transferring agent. Polycarbonate has superior compatibility with the charge transferring agent, superior dielectric stregth, etc., and the addition of said styrene copolymer results in further enhanced toughness of the layer and reduced sticking of a residual toner. This receptor has high resistance to water, wear and abrasion. |
