PURPOSE:To offer a controller which easily control musical sound parameters of a sound source by bringing an electric resistance member into contact with a bow member having electrical conductivity and detecting the contacting position as an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:A natural rubbed string instrument is provided with the bow member 5 equivalent to a bow, the electric resistance member 27 which is arranged almost in parallel to the hair of the bow member 5 or as the substitute for the hair, and a position detecting means 27 which detects the contact position in the electric resistance member when performance operation is performed by connecting the electric resistance member 27 of the bow member to a conductive string equivalent member 6, and the output signal of the position detecting means is processed as the musical sound parameter of the electronic musical instrument by a processing part 2. The bow member 5 which has the hair equivalent to that of the bow of the natural musical rubbed string instrument is used to enable a player who is skilled in the performance of the natural rubbed string instrument to easily operate this controller. The electric resistance member 27 which is arranged almost in parallel to the hair of the bow member 5 or as a substituted for the hair is used to easily generate the bow position as the electric signal. |
