<p>PURPOSE:To effectively provide both static pressure bearing function and dynamic pressure bearing function by supporting the outer circumference of a torque ring by the inner circumference of a casing through a static pressure bearing part and a dynamic pressure bearing part, and providing a feed passage for operation fluid with a variable throttle for increasing throttle effect according to an increase in centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:A static pressure bearing part 8 and a dynamic pressure bearing part 9 are constituted by utilizing a bearing shoe 6 fitted to the outer circumference 1b of a torque ring 1. In this case, the bearing shoe 6 is provided with a variable throttle system 7, which is formed of a tapered passage 6d, a needle valve 7b having a weight 7a integrated on the base end part, and a spring 7c for elastically supporting the needle valve 7b to the lower plate part 6e of the bearing shoe 6. At the time of low rotation of the torque ring 1, a sufficient operation fluid is supplied to the pressure pocket 6b of the static pressure bearing part 8, and the torque ring 1 is supported by the static pressure bearing part 8. The throttle effect of the variable throttle system 7 is increased as the rotating speed is increased to cut the feed quantity of the operation fluid to the pressure pocket 6b, while which the support is transferred into a support state by the dynamic pressure bearing part 9.</p> |
