<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize crown quality by learning the sheet crown errors by the predictive errors of work roll profiles in a 1st offset term and storing the sheet crown errors by the specifications of rolled stocks and reflecting the errors in the next crown control in a 2nd offset term. CONSTITUTION:The gradually changing sheet crown errors occurring in the predictive errors of the work roll profiles are learned from the 1st offset term and are reflected in the crown set up control of the next rolled stocks. The sheet crown errors generated by the specifications of the rolled stocks, such as thickness, width and material quality, i.e. the errors obtd. after the sheet crown errors occurring in the predicted errors of the above-mentioned work roll profiles are removed from the sheet crown errors are previously stored at every rolled stock by the 2nd offset term. These errors are reflected in the crown set-up control of the rolled stocks of the next same lot. The control accuracy is maintained in the stable and high state in such a manner even in the case of rolling by schedule free rolling. The crown quality is thus stabilized to the high quality.</p> |
