PURPOSE:To obtain a precoated steel plate for use for outdoor household electric appliances having an excellent luster and durability by a method wherein the galvanized sheet iron having its surface roughness adjusted so as to have at most a specific thickness is coated with primer, fluororesin coating material is thereafter applied thereto as a top coat and this coat is baked. CONSTITUTION:The surface roughness Ra of a galvanized sheet iron is adjusted so as to be at most 0.4mum and this surface roughness adjustment is made by skin pass treatment after the plating. The zinc plating is made by electroplating, hot dipping and galvannealing plating and it is preferable to plate in large unit amt. from the anti-corrosive viewpoint. As a primer coating material, it is suggested that the conventional high-molecular polyester, epoxy modified polyester and epoxy be used. As the top coating material, a so-called fluororesin coating material containing vinylidene fluoride and modified with acrylic resin is used. In this way the luster can be improved while durability (corrosion resistance) and workability are being retained. |
