METHOD FOR BONDING RUBBER TO NEW CERAMIC MATERIAL BY VULCANIZATION

PURPOSE:To carry out the title bonding having excellent bonding strength and durability by forming a specific layer on the surface of a new ceramic material and then bonding the layer by vulcanization to a rubber in which a vulcanizer is blended. CONSTITUTION:Coating film of a metal (e.g. copper) is formed on the surface of a new ceramic material (e.g. alumina) and brass alloy plating layer is formed on the coating film and then the plating layer is bonded by vulcanization to a rubber in which a vulcanizer (e.g. S) is blended.
