摘要 PURPOSE:To perform easily and quickly working to an optional shape in the stage of working a sample surface with a laser to a desired shape by controlling the aperture pattern of the laser beam with a bismuth silicon oxide (Bi12 SiO20) light bulb. CONSTITUTION:The luminous flux of a laser beam from a laser light source 1 is expanded with a beam expander 21 and is reflected by a mirror 22 so as to be made incident to a deflected beam splitter 31. Only the specific polarizing component of the laser beam is made incident to a bismuth silicon oxide (Bi12 SiO20) light bulb 35. An aperture pattern is written on this bulb 35 by reducing the optional image displayed on a CRT 38 with an imaging lens 37. The laser beam modulated with this bulb 35 is reflected by the end face threreof, passes again through the splitter 31, from which the beam is condensed and irradiated as the beam controlled to the aperture pattern of a desired shape by a condenser lens 42 onto a sample 51, by which the sample is laser-worked.
