PURPOSE:To assure linearity of printing position in the feeding direction of sheet of recording paper, by delivering a timing signal for print positioning directly or through an intervention of retarding means and delivering either one of the signals selectively. CONSTITUTION:A pulse signal produced by the first detector 11 detecting slits A1...An of a slit plate 10, is applied to a selecting means 14 directly or through a delay means 13. The selecting means 14 delivers a directly applied signal to an actuating means 15 for printing. In the following line printing is conducted corresponding to detection of slits B1...Bn. At this moment, prior to detection of the slit B1, the slit C is detected by the second detector 12. And, when the detector 12 delivers a signal to the selecting means 14, the means 14 delivers later signals as they are applied to the actuating means 15 for printing by a printing-head 1. By selecting properly the retarding time, assurance of the linearity of position in the feeding direction of the recording paper sheet becomes available. |
