PURPOSE:In a polishing system for a convex lens, to achieve an accurate convex face easily by performing working while pressing the work against the inner wall of a cylindrical body to be fed with free abrasive grains. CONSTITUTION:Upon rotation of a rotary roller 29 in the arrow 12 direction, a cylindrical body 11 will rotate in the arrow 13 direction. A work holder 15 sticked with a work 14 is coupled through a rotary shaft 18 and a baseboard 16 with a rotary board 17 which is fixed with a crank shaft 20 through a crank receiver 19 then coupled through an arm 22 with the drive section 21. Consequently, the rotation of the drive section 21 in the arrow 23 direction is transmitted to a holding body 15 to rotate the work 14 around the axis 18. Rotation of cam 24 in the arrow 27 direction is converted into reciprocal motion in the arrow 28 direction by a spring 25 and a coupling rod 26 to reciprocate the baseboard 16 linearly in the axial direction of said body 11. Consequently, the work 14 is polished into convex face having diameter same with that of the inner wall of said body 11 to be fed with free abrasive grains. |
