Surface coatings and printing ink compositions comprising curable mixtures of synthetic resins, which compositions, after evaporation of a solvent therefrom, give physically dry and clear films and cure at room temperature or slightly higher temperature, said compositions including at least one aliphatic glycidyl compound, one or more amine components, a thermoplastic resin having free carboxyl groups, a solvent, and optional commonly used auxiliary agents.
