PURPOSE:To obtain a plasma display device having a power saving and fast pulse amplifier circuit by connecting a pair of complementary transistors(TRs) using n-channel and p-channel field effect transistors (FETs) to the post stage of a high voltage pulse amplifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:The prestage complementary TR pair C1 is constituted of inserting the same resistors R24, R25 as a resistor R23 between respective collectors of TRs Q21, Q22 and nodes N1, N2 and the post-stage complementary TR pair C2 is constituted of connecting both the sources of the FETs QN, QP through serial diodes D21, D22 whose center is an output node 0 and inserting Zener diodes ZD1, ZD2 between respective gates and sources. Consequently, the fast pulse amplifier circuit extremely reducing electromagnetic wave interruption(EMI) and saving power can be obtained.
