PURPOSE:To improve condensing properties of a laser beam by guiding the beam at least by two beam reflecting mirrors to a waveguide, propagating the beam received by the waveguide via a laser beam inlet hole into the waveguide, and externally discharging a laser beam output hole. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 8 output from a beam output window 53 is bent by beam reflecting mirrors 55, 56, input and propagated to a waveguide 2 through a cutoff pipe 23 and a laser beam inlet hole 21, and output from the waveguide 2 through a laser beam output hole 22 and a cutoff pipe 24. If holes are opened like the holes 21, 22, a microwave is leaked from the hole, but since the pipes 23, 24 are provided in the holes 21, 22, the microwave is not leaked from the waveguide 2. The beam 8 can be propagated at a predetermined distance without increasing the size of a device by using the hollow waveguide 2. |
