APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING PROCESS FOR PREPARING PREPREG OF LAMINATED SHEET

PURPOSE:To stabilize quality by measuring the adhesion amount of the resin of the prepreg after drying issued from a drying oven and the amount of the volatile component such as a solvent or moisture thereof and automatically altering the setting of the clearance of squeeze rollers within a real time by a control means. CONSTITUTION:The wt. of the dried prepreg 1' passed through a drying oven 5 is measured by a beta-ray thickness meter 17 and the resin adhesion amount of the prepreg 1' is operated and calculated by an operation means 16a. The moisture of the prepreg 1' is measured by an infrared moisture meter 18 and this moisture data is inputted to a control apparatus 16 to operate and calculate the amount of the volatile component of the prepreg 1'. A temp. controller 11 controls a damper 12 so that the measured temp. of a temp. sensor 10 coincides with a set value to control the amount of hot air in the drying oven 5. A squeeze roller controller 15 controls clearance quantity so that the clearance quantity measured by a gap sensor 13 coincides with a set value. In an operation means 16a, the amount of the volatile component or the adhesion amount of the resin is converted to graph or table data by a display control means 16d to be displayed on a monitor 19 within a real time.
