PURPOSE:To enable a rapid start by connecting elements with impedance and the like to a lamp in parallel, heating an electrode of the lamp, and carrying out connection to a power supply having a voltage not more than the reduced lamp start-up voltage. CONSTITUTION:To a fluorescent lamp elements having impedance or circuits are connected in parallel and an electrode is heated to decrease a lamp start-up voltage, and the elements or the like are connected to a power supply having a voltage not less than the lamp start-up voltage, or a magnetic leakage transformer is connected thereto. Then a rapid start is realized inexpensively with this constitution rather than that where a wire for heating the electrode is wound in the transformer or a semi-resonance lighting circuit is used. |
