PURPOSE:To obtain a WORM-type CD which uses a low-cost aluminum as a metal reflection layer and has a high reflection factor as a CD standard by using a color which is not absorbed in a laser beam wavelength and is expressed by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:A color layer consists of a color which is not absorbed in a record regeneration light wavelength range and is expressed by formula (1), and a reflective layer is made of aluminum. In the formula, R1, R2, R3 are an alkyl group with C1 to C6 or different numbers of carbon atoms and X is halogen, perhalogenate, tetrafluoroborate, toluenesulphate, or alkylsulphate. A is a benzene ring or a naphthyl ring, and a substitution group which is allowed to be present is an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, a carboxyl group, halogen, an aryl group or an alkylcarboxyl group. This optical recording medium is composed of a metal reflective layer of aluminum and enables formation of a WORM-type CD which is low-priced and meets international CD standards. |
