PURPOSE:To make it possible to let a lock means play a role for electrical conductor for both covers as well by a method wherein for a soundproof cover for a printer, which consists of upper and two covers to be joined separatably, in order to join respective covers, a lock means which is rotatably supported by one cover and is detachable with the other cover is used. CONSTITUTION:A soundproof cover 11 consists of a lower cover 12 and an upper cover 13, and at a specified position on the lower cover 12, a lock means 14 is rotatably supported. The lock means 14 is supported on a horizontal flange 12a of the lower cover 12 by a pin 15. Also, on a flange 13a, a conduction part 16 for which a metal of the base material for the cover is exposed is formed. When both covers 12, 13 are joined, the upper cover 13 is placed on the lower cover 12, and the lock means 14 is turned in the direction shown by arrow. As the results, both covers 12, 13 are electrically connected by the lock means 14. |
