PURPOSE:To easily specify one of a plurality of causes of a fault by providing a test table made up of a discrimination table and a fault probability table which shows a faulty spot and the fault probability thereof on the basis of a judgment table and a plurality of patterns of result of judgment. CONSTITUTION:When fault probability exceeds a threshold value and a subordinate fault tree is present at a gas node, the subordinate fault tree at the node is loaded on a main storage device 1 from an auxiliary storage device 4 and a test table 15 at a route node 14 is executed. When the fault probability exceeds the threshold value and when it has no subordinate fault tree, the spot of a node name thereof is diagnosed as faulty and the diagnosis is ended. A node of the maximum fault probability in the main storage device 1 is selected, the node is tested and a return is made. |
