PURPOSE:To stabilize the density of images despite elevation of the temp. of a photoreceptor during continous operation by detecting the temp. of the photoreceptor of an electrophotographing copier and controlling the output of a corona charger according to this temp. CONSTITUTION:The temp. of a photoreceptor 1 of Se-Te-halogen type is detected with a temp. sensor 2, and the output of a high voltage generator 4 is so controlled as to increase according to the elevation of the temp. by a control circuit 5. If the rates of increase in the high voltage discharge current are about 1.2 times at 29 deg.C, 1.5 times at 33 deg.C and about 2 times at 43 deg.C as compared to the corona discharge current at 20 deg.C, the decrease in the density of the copied images does not occur. |
