The method and device can be applied for the transmission and receiving of digital data between microcomputers in local area networks. Within this method the synchronized pulses are generated only from the transmission channel of the connection and are transmitted to the receiving channel like data along the electrical current circuit, and the data and synchronized pulses are galvanically divided during transmission through optronic disconnection. The device contains a transmission channel connected to the adapter of a telecommunication processor, and a receiving channel connected to the adapter of a microcomputer, local station or a terminal. The connection between the transmission and the receiving channels is a leased line - telephone or physical. The transmission channel contains first (5) and second (8) a block for data transmission along an electrical current circuit through optronic disconnection, a block for data receiving along an electrical current circuit through optronic disconnection (6) and a generator (7). The receiving channel contains a block for data transmission along an electrical current circuit through optronic disconnection (9) and two blocks for data receiving along an electrical current circuit through optronic disconnection (10 and 11).
