Support for prosthetic aortic valve - has undulated proximal and distal surfaces with thicker central peripheral band receiving sutures

The prosthetic aorta support is a cylindrical hollow body made of medical-quality coated polypropylene. Both ends are open and are joined respectively to the periphery of the aorta and the edge of an aortic valve. One end of the support is undulated with the number of peaks corresponding to the number of leaves of the valve. The other end of the support also has protuberances (2) which are three times the height of those facing them. The outside of the armature has a thickened wavy band around the circumference which corresponds to the configuration of the edge of the aorta which is sutured to it.
