The method is suitable for deflaking granular and lump raw materials of mineral origin with a flaky structure, such as graphite, mica etc. It ensures high yields in flaky products from the raw material, while preserving the initial structural integrity and the purity of the flakes. The method involves exposing the raw material to a circular or elliptic roto-vibratory treatment in a medium of air or water at a vibration frequency 10-30 Hz and vibration amplitude 6-2 mm, ensuring that the entire cross-section of the working cylindrical volume remains filled.
