<p>PURPOSE:To cut recording paper surely and neatly by projecting a blade from the inside of a case toward the recording paper when the recording paper is cut so as to cut the recording paper discharged from a discharge section of a main body. CONSTITUTION:When a picture is sent, a recording section of a recorder main body 6 prints out the picture on roll paper 8 and the paper is discharged externally from a discharge port 66 of a discharge section 63. When the print on the roll paper 8 is finished and the user depresses a depression button 71 of a cutter 7, a double-edged blade 73 is projected from a case 70 to cut off part of the roll paper 8. When the user slides the case 70 along grooves 64, 65 of the main body 6 while depressing the button 71, the roll paper 8 is moved in the broadwise direction and cut off neatly. Thus, even when the recorder is contained in a glove box of an automobile in which no larger vertical room is afforded, the cutter 7 easily cuts the roll paper 8 with a compact size.</p> |
