The device is used for carrying out exothermic chemisorption processes involving solid chemisorbents and gaseous chemisorptive with no kinetic limitations to the heat and mass-exchange processes. It helps intensify the work process. The device consists of a vertical reaction chamber (1) housing, along its periphery, a heat-exchange apparatus (2) and at least one symmetrically positioned vertical conveying device (6). A gas distribution screen (14) for feeding the gaseous chemisorptive agent is placed under the bottom of a reaction chamber (1). The top of the device is connected to a dust-conveying device (19). There is at least one baffle (21) installed inside the reaction chamber (1). The feeding mechanism (24) is placed above the gas distribution screen (14).
