PURPOSE:To produce a composite yarn having excellent covering effect, only by attaching a simple apparatus, by feeding stable and previously opened multifilaments simultaneously through separate yarn feed pipes, and spinning with an open-end spinning frame. CONSTITUTION:The staple 1 is supplied through the staple feeding port 2 to the rotary spinning chamber 3 of an open-end spinning frame, and at the same time, the multifilaments 9 opened with an opener 10 are supplied through the multifilament feeding port 8. The staple 1 accumulated in the staple accumulation groove 3 is taken up with the take-up rolls 6,6' while applying real twisting to the staple by the rotary action of the rotary spinning chamber 3 to form the spun yarn 7. The spun yarn is convered during the spinning process, the opened multifilaments 9 to obtain the objective composite yarn 11. The opener is preferably an electrostatic opener. |
