Formation comprises using a rotor in a cylindrical housing. These have opposite moulding grooves between peripheral ribs together to form round-section moulding passages. Lengthwise gaps in the housing, spaced apart in the peripheral direction, form inlet and outlet ports. At the passage inlets the ribs can be chamfered to form cutting lugs.
